PART 1
It’s not like I haven’t been anywhere or haven’t ‘lived’, I try to make the most of every day. But as far as travelling, numerous trips to Aussie (including
climbing Ayres Rock and snorkling the Great Barrier Reef), and a family holiday to Rarotonga (which was great), there’s so much as yet that I haven’t seen; and time is a ticking…..
Vietnam is a country I have wanted to visit since a young age, and in recent years there has been a lot of talk. But as they say, talks cheap!
It was about this time last year, I was out walking with my eldest daughter Savanna, who at 28 years of age, is somewhat of a ‘seasoned traveller’. As you do, I’m making excuses as to, how it’s probably not going to happen for a while.
“I don’t know if I can afford it right now”. Even though Vietnam is renowned for being a cheap place to travel to.
“I don’t know if I have the time”…. That sort of thing..
Anyway from that walk and chat that day, my dream has become reality. Thanks Savvy 🙂 And, with my 50th looming in September, and winter being a quiet period at work, I made a deadline……
